TRAINING SOLUTIONS FOR LIFE & SPORT

This guided discovery course format uses video analysis and group discussions to deconstruct movement patterns in life and sport, and recognize the how specific positioning strategies can improve movement efficiency, stability and reduce the  risk of injury.

Use this knowledge to connect specific movement patterns with exercises in an interactive format to determine the most appropriate equipment and progression for enhancing movement related skills.

Explore energy system aspects to gain a better understanding of work to rest ratios, fatigue and strategic interval training methods to maximize fitness and performance training program design.

Learn to select specific cardiovascular options & programming concepts to maximize time, take advantage of small spaces, increase revenue and implement a sustainable, results driven approach.

Course Breakdown:

  • Part 1: Movement in Life & Sport
  • Part 2: Strength for an Active Lifestyle
  • Part 3: Last Longer, Move Stronger, Feel Fitter
  • Part 4: Group Structure & Program Design

ANALYZING MOVEMENT
IN LIFE & SPORT

Examine the similarities of movement patterns in life and sport, and understand the how specific positioning strategies can improve movement efficiency, stability and reduce the risk of injury. This guided discovery course format uses video analysis and group discussions to deconstruct movements into phases, identify key points of observation and create assessment screens to assess the efficiency of each movement or task coach clients into efficient movement patterns.

Learn how to deconstruct movement into phases, patterns and positions to provide a more focused approach to assessing the demands of specific tasks in life and sport.

This is a prerequisite course that will set the foundation for better understand of the content in other course options.

STRENGTHENING MOVEMENT
FOR AN ACTIVE LIFESTYLE

Develop a better understanding of progressions of stability, strength, power and speed in this lecture and hands on workshop. Attendees will learn how forces act on the body, and how the body positions itself to produce force to maximize efficiency during activities while reducing the risk of injury. Attendees will learn how to better to select key exercises, master form and technique of each exercise and progress exercises using supersets, combinations, and complexes to build confident movement patterns.

Understand through first hand experience how subtle changes in positioning, equipment choices and movement strategies can challenge clients in unique ways, helping to reduce pain, control fatigue and enhance performance in life and sport.

LASTING LONGER &
MOVING STRONGER

Explore energy system development programming to gain a better understanding of work to rest ratios, fatigue and strategic interval training methods to maximize fitness and performance training program design. This lecture and hands on course will outline specific criteria to create more enjoyable, sustainable, successful programs for an active population. At the conclusion of this workshop, each attendee have an understanding of how to integrate specific pieces of equipment into individual and group programming.

Develop a focused understanding of fatigue, applying this knowledge towards the creation of workout structures that expand our clients work capacity and efficiency, and help them find success in a more confident active lifestyle.

FACILITY SET UP
& GROUP STRUCTURES

Learn to develop lane concepts to take advantage of small spaces within your facility to maximize time, increase revenue and implement a sustainable, results driven approach to small group and personal training. This workshop outlines a strategy created by AthleteFIT that has proven to be a flexible and sustainable model since 1999, that is designed to adapt quickly with new industry trends.

Design and implement short programs for specific outcomes in small spaces with limited equipment to expand your creativity in program design, then discuss how specific pieces of equipment could enhance programming, save space and increase revenue.
